This external mains power supply can be used to power any NANOCOM Unit in cases when the diagnostic lead which is used is not capable of providing the necessary power, or where you would wish to power your equipment up, for installation, configuration or licensing operations, without being in close proximity to a vehicle. Whilst not included as standard, this is possibly the handiest thing you could possibly add to the purchase of any system.
